I am an artist working on a videogame idea called Elzam Revelations, an Action JRPG with platforming elements, 14 playable characters, and a custom battle creator where players can pair-up different bosses. It'll play similarly to Kingdom Hearts and the Tales of Series.

There's no doubt that the prequel dlc and the comics will reveal more about Six and the Maw. However, a lot of the story isn't very hard to piece together if you pay attention to what's going on in the game. What's implied from what you see in-game can be confirmed with additional clues provided on their website.
Throughout the entire game, you will notice that everything seems to be bigger than you: from doors and furniture to clothing and television sets to books and picture frames. In fact, you rarely come across anything that’s made for your size other than shoes and ladders.
